آدها ādhā अर्द्ध S̱. adj. Half. In compos. it becomes آده ādh or اده adh or ادها adhā or اد ad; as, آده جلا ādh-jalā, Half-burnt; ادهموا adh- mūā or ادموا ad-mūā, Half-dead.

آدهار ādhār S̱. (आहार Food, or for आधार Support) s. m. Food, aliment, victuals, nourishment, support.

آدهار आधार आ and r. धृ Hold ā-dhār S. s. m. A patron, supporter, one on whom de- pendance is placed for assistance.

آدهاري ādhār-i S̱. (in compos.) An eater; as, دوده آدهاري dūdh-ādhārī, One who lives on milk. ماس آدهاري mās-ādhārī, Flesh-eater, carnivorous.

آدهان आधान आ and r. धा Hold ā-dhān S. s. m. 1. A ceremony practised as conducive to conception. 2. Conception, pregnancy.

ادهار adhār S̱. (आहार Food, or for आधार Support) s. m. Food, aliment, victuals, nourishment, support.

ادهار उद्धार उद् and r. धृ Hold udhār S. or ud-dhār, s. m. Debt (especially not bearing interest), deduction, discharge, deliverance, sal- vation, raising up from any place or state.

ادهارنا udhārnā S̱. (see ادهار udhār) v. a. To libe- rate, to discharge.

ادهاسیي adhā-sīsī S̱. (अर्द्ध Half, and शीर्ष Head) s. f. Pain affecting the half of the head, hemicrania.

ادهبر adh-bar S̱. adv. Half-way, in the middle.

ادهر adhar H s. m. Empty space, the space be- tween heaven and earth.

ادهر i-dhar H adv. Here, hither, on this side. ادهر ادهر idhar udhar, About, around, up and down, here and there.

ادهر u-dhar H adv. There, thither, on that side. ادهرسي udhar se, From that, or the other, side.

ادهر अधर adhar S s. m. The lower lip, the lip.
