✓ Arabic font for Holy Quran A high quality OpenType Font for Holy Quran Pakistan Data Management Services is pleased to announce the release of an OpenType Font for writing Holy Quran text based on Unicode standard. The font features high quality glyphs and has support for all aeraabs/mark placements at proper places. All waqfs (special symbols) used for identifying different pauses in reading are also provided. PDMS Saleem Quran Font  provides advanced Arabic typography - close to calligraphy while retaining the beauty and legibility of Quran Majeed Arabic text. This font is developed according to rules used in Quranic calligraphy in Pakistan, following the style of Yameen Dehlvi, who is one of the finest Quran calligraphers of Pakistan. Guidance and calligraphy of basic glyphs for the font has been provided by Mr. Mohammed Saleem. He is a student of Mohammed Iqbal Saeed and Yameen Dehlvi. Mohammed Saleem is also inspired by work of Shafiq uz Zaman (master calligrapher for Masjid Nabbawi) and frequently consults him for guidance. This font enables desktop and internet publishing of Holy Quran using existing software supporting OTF specifications, e.g. Microsoft Word, Microsoft Publisher, Internet Explorer, etc. PDMS Saleem Quran Font  is freely downloadable from www.pakdata.com/ArabicFont. ✓ PAKISTAN DATA MANAGEMENT SERVICES ELECTRONIC END USER LICENSE AGREEMENT FOR PDMS Saleem Quran Font NOTICE TO USER: THIS IS A CONTRACT. BY INSTALLING THIS FONT YOU ACCEPT ALL THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF THIS AGREEMENT. This Pakistan Data Management Services ("PDMS") End User License Agreement accompanies PDMS Saleem Quran Font ("Font"). The term "Font" also shall include any upgrades, modified versions or updates of the Font licensed to you by PDMS. Please read this Agreement carefully. Upon your acceptance of this Agreement, PDMS grants to you a nonexclusive license to use the Font, provided that you agree to the following: 1. Use of the Font: The Font is provided free of cost from PDMS website (www.pakdata.com), but PDMS retains all rights of the Font. You cannot distribute the Font without obtaining a proper distribution license from PDMS. 2. Copyright and Trademark Rights. The Font is owned by PDMS and its structure, organization and code are the valuable trade secrets of PDMS. The Font also is protected by Pakistan Copyright Law and International Treaty provisions. You may use trademarks only insofar as required to comply with Section 1 of this Agreement and to identify printed output produced by the Font, in accordance with accepted trademark practice, including identification of trademark owner's name. Such use of any trademark does not give you any rights of ownership in that trademark. Except as stated above, this Agreement does not grant you any intellectual property rights in the Font. 3. Restrictions. You agree not to distribute, modify, adapt, translate, reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble or otherwise attempt to discover the source code of the Font. 4. No Warranty. The Font is being delivered to you AS IS and PDMS makes no warranty as to its use or performance. PDMS DO NOT AND CANNOT WARRANT THE PERFORMANCE OR RESULTS YOU MAY OBTAIN BY USING THE FONT. PDMS AND ITS SUPPLIERS MAKE NO WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, AS TO NONINFRINGEMENT OF THIRD PARTY RIGHTS, MERCHANTABILITY, OR FITNESS FOR ANY PARTICULAR PURPOSE.
