اچهودن achchhodan आच्छोदन S̱. s. m. The chase, hunting.

اچها इच्छा ichchhā S s. f. Wish, desire. اچها بهوجن ichchhā bhojan, Desirable food, or food to the utmost desire.

اسہج a-sahajj S̱. (अ and सह्य Sufferable, from r. षह Bear) adj. Intolerable, insufferable.

اوايل awāʼịl A s. m. f. plur. (of اوّل) Commence- ments, beginning.

انارپن anār-pan H (see اناري) s. m. Silliness, clumsiness, inexpertness, ignorance, awkwardness.

افیون afyūn A s. f. Opium, the inspissated juice of the Papaver somniferum. (The word may be derived from افن To deprive of reason or pru- dence (Gol.); or, rather from Gr. ʼopos, Juice, especially of the Laserpitium (Hippoc.), whence ʼopion (Dioscor.); or, from the Sans. अहिफेन ahiphen, comp.of अहि Serpent, and फेन Froth, foam. Hunter).
