تائي tāʼī H s. f. 1. An aunt, paternal uncleʼs wife, fatherʼs elder brotherʼs wife. 2. An earthen frying pot.

تابان tābān P (from تافتن) adj. Resplendent, splendid, glittering, refulgent, burning.

تاباني tābān-ī P s. f. Splendour, light.

تابدان tāb-dān P s. m. A lattice, a skylight.

تابستان tāb-istān P s. m. The hot weather, sum- mer.

تابستاني tābistān-ī P adj. Of summer, like sum- mer, pleasant as the summer.

تابش tābish P (from تافتن) s. f. 1. Heat. 2. Brilliancy, splendour. P. A. تاب طاقت tāb-t̤āḳat, s. f. Power, ability.

تابع tābi A (from تبع) part. act. Dependant, follower, subject. تابعدار tābiﻌ-dār (much used in Hindūstan, though ungrammatical) adj. De- pendant, follower. تابعداري tābiﻌ-dār-ī, s. f. Allegiance, obedience, fidelity, dependance. تابع کرنا tābiﻌ karnā, To control, to subject.

تابعين tābiʼīﻌn A (plur. of تابع) s. m. Followers, companions.

تابناک tāb-nāk P adj. 1. Hot. 2. Passionate. 3. Brilliant, bright, shining, glowing.
