نيروا nerūʼā H s. m. Straw.

نيلوفر nīlofar P s. m. The lotus nilufer, water- lily, nenuphar. (Nymphæa lotus).

ناصيه nāṣiya A s. m. The forelock of hair over the forehead.

نکپٿ निःकपट ni-kapaṭ S Without deceit or fraud, sincere, candid.

نرسنگا nar-singā नलशृंग S̱. s. m. A horn (mu- sical), a wind instrument. S. نرسنگهـ नरसिंह or नृसिंह nar-singh or nr̤i- singh, s. m. The name of the fourth Avatār or incarnation of Vish̤ṇu, which happened in the Satya-yuga, upon the following occasion. ناتهنا nāth-nā नाथन S̱. v. a. To bore a bullockʼs nose and put a string in it to guide him by.
