نرمل nir-mal S (निर्म्मल from निर् prep. and मल Filth) adj. Pure, limpid, clear, pel- lucid, transparent, spotless, clean.

نکتي niktī H s. f. A balance, small scales. ¶ nuktī (dakh.) A kind of sweetmeat. (Qanoon-e-islam).

نعش naﻌsh A s. f. 1. A bier, a coffin. 2. A litter on which a sick person is carried. بنات النعش banātu-n-naﻌsh, The constellation of the bear.

نفراني nafrānī A. s. f. Fem. of نفر nafar, sign. 1. q. v.

نکهورنا nikhornā S̱. or nikhoṛnā (निर् prep. and r. खुर Cut, scratch) v. a. To peel, skin, de- corticate, clean.

نستارنا nistārnā निस्तारण S̱. v. a. To release,

نکوهش nakohish P or nikohish (from نکوهيدن) s. f. Spurning, rejecting, despising.

نالا nālā H s. m. A rivulet, brook, canal, gutter, furrow, ravine.

نيش nesh P s. m. 1. Sting (of a venomous animal). 2. A puncture. 3. A lancet. نيش زن nesh-zan, Stinger; (met.) an incendiary, one who inflames disputes, a telltale. نيش زني nesh-zan-ī, s. f. Striking with a sting; exciting of quarrels, &c.

نکهريکهـ nakh-rekh नखरेखा S̱. s. f. The marks left by the nails, a scratch.
