اينٿهنا ainṭhnā H v. a. To tighten. v. n. To writhe, to cramp, to twist; to strut, to stalk, to walk affectedly.

اپٿهنا upaṭhnā S̱. (उप and r. ष्ठा Stand) v. n. To be tired or to be sick of a business.

اٿهنا uṭhnā S̱. (उत्थान from उत् and r. ष्ठा Stand) v. n. To rise up, be raised, spring; to be abolished.

بيٿهنا baiṭhnā S̱. (from उपविष्ट Seated) v. n. 1. To sit, to be unemployed or idle. 2. To ride (on a horse). 3. To visit a person in grief for the purpose of condolence. 4. To sit in dharnā.

پيٿهنا paiṭhnā S̱. (प्रविष्ट Entered) v. n. To pene- trate, enter, rush or run into, pervade.

ٿهنٿهنانا ṭhanṭhanānā H v. n. To jingle, to rattle.

کٿهندر kaṭhandar S̱. (काष्ठोदर from काष्ठ Wood, and उदर Belly; the belly being as hard as wood) s. m. Wind dropsy, tympany.

گانٿهنا gānṭh-nā ग्रंथन S̱. v. a. 1. To tie, to knot, join, make adhere, stitch, cobble, put toge- ther. 2. To reduce to obedience or subjection, to attach.
