جهمکانا jhamkānā H (caus. of جهمکنا) v. a. To cause to glitter or dance.

جهورنا jhūrnā S̱. (चूर्णन Pulverizing, shrinking, throwing) v. a. 1. To pound, to grind, 2. To shake fruit from the tree. 3. To pine.

جات jāt P A termination or affix sometimes added by the moderns to Persian or Arabic words ending in ه to denote the plural; as in ميوه جات Fruits.

جبروت jabrūt A s. Omnipotence, the world or sphere of omnipotence.

جلسيني jal-senī S̱. (जलशयन from जल Wa- ter, and r. शी Sleep) s. f. 1. Sleeping in water by way of mortification. 2. A fish.
