جيبهارا jībh-ārā S. (from जिह्वा) adj. Plain spoken, loquacious.

جلساٴي jal-sāʼī जलशायी S̱. (lit. sleeping on the water) adj. An epithet of Vish̤ṇu, when, after the destruction of the universe, he alone of all beings remains floating on the water, on a leaf of the baṛ or Ficus Indica, or on the great snake ananta.

جزايل jazāʼịl A s. m. A large musket, a wall- piece, a swivel. جزايل انداز jazāʼil-andāz, One who fires a wall-piece.

جهجهلا jhajhlā H s. m. A kind of sweetmeat.

جواٿهـ jūʼāṭh युगकाष्ठ S̱. s. m. A yoke.
