جوتي juvati S or juvatī (युवति or युवती) s. f. A young woman, one from sixteen to thirty years of age.

جتنا jitnā H m. adj. How much, so much, as much as, as many. (Sans. यावत्). جتني مين jitne meṅ, In as much (time) as.

جواسا jawāsā यवास S̱. s. m. A prickly bush of which ṭaṭṭīs are made. (Hedysarum alhagi).

جارنا jārnā ज्वालन S̱. v. a. To light, to kindle, to burn, to inflame.

جوالي jawālī S̱. (see s̱. جوالا) s. f. Mixed wheat. P. S̱. جوان jawān (Pers. jawān. Sans. युवन्) 1. adj. Young. 2. s. m. A youth, lad, man, adult; s. f. Young woman. جوان بخت jawān- baḵẖt, adj. Fortunate (person), one of blooming prospects. حوان پن يا پنا jawān-pan or -panā, s. m. Youth. جوان صالح jawān-i-ṣāliḥ, s. m. A fine youth. (Pers. plur. جوانان jawānān).
