پچهاڙنا pachhāṛnā H (trans. of پچهڙنا) v. a. To throw down, to abase, to conquer.

پنڐو panḍū H s. (dakh.) i. q. پخته پهل puḵẖta phal, Ripe or cooked fruit.

پوروا porūʼā पर्व S̱. s. m. 1. A joint or phalanx of the fingers. 2. A joint of a tamarind.

پروردگار parwardi-gār P (from پروردن) s. m. An epithet of the deity, nourisher (of all).

پاگرانا pāgurānā H v. a. To chew the cud, to ru- minate.

پنياٴي punyāʼī S̱. (from पुण्य) s. f. 1. A vir- tuous action, performed (according to those who hold the doctrine of the metempsychosis) in one state of existence, the reward of which is received in a future transmigration. 2. Merit of an ancestor rewarded in his descendants.

پنج سال panj-sāl P s. m. 1. Five years. 2. A five years old (horse).
