قرص ḳurṣ A s. m. An orb, a pellet, a ball of paste, the disk (of the sun or moon).

قلندري ḳalandar-ī A. 1. s. f. A kind of tent (having a fly to it). 2. adj. Of the ḳalandar; s. f. The practice or life of a ḳalandar.

قلندر ḳalandar A s. m. 1. A kind of monk, who deserts the world, wife, friends, &c. and travels about with shaven head and beard. 2. The fly of a tent.

قياقه ḳiyāfa A (from قوف) s. m. Appearance, countenance, mien, likeness, air, manner, mode, representation.

قليه ḳaliya A (from قلا Heb. To roast or broil) s. m. The name of a dish; also, a kind of soap- ashes.

قاسم ḳāsim A part. act. (of قسم) 1. Dividing. 2. (sub.) A distributer. قاسم الارزاق ḳāsimu-l-arzāḳ, Distributer of daily bread, i. e. God.

قصف ḳaṣf A (Heb. To boil up, to foam, to rage) s. m. 1. The wind breaking, dashing to pieces (a ship). 2. Blowing with a loud noise (wind), thundering. ¶ ḳaṣif, adj. Weak, broken, split.

قوي ḳawī A adj. Strong, solid, powerful, vigo- rous. قوي پي ḳawī-pai, Sinewy. قوي دل ḳawī-dīl, Strong in the heart or mind. قوي هيکل ḳawī-haikal, Robust, powerful in body, gigantick.

قبضيت ḳabẓīyat A (from قبض) s. f. 1. Seizure. 2. Costiveness. 3. Astringency.
