زنديق zindīḳ A or zandīḳ, s. A follower of Zo- roaster; one of a bad religion, a magian.

The business of a goldsmith. 2. A kind of dialect. زرگل zar-i-gul, The yellow stamina of a rose. زرنقد zar-i-naḳd, Ready money, cash. زرنگار zar-nigār, adj. Gilt. زرنگاري zar-nigār-ī, s. f. Gilding.

زمستاني zamistān-ī P adj. Of winter, wintry.

زايل zāʼịl A (part. act. of زوال) adj. Deficient, failing, perishing, vanishing, waning, declining.

زاغ zāg̠ẖ P s. m. A crow. زاغ آبي zāg̠ẖ-i-ābī, A coot.

زمام zamām A (prop. zimām, from زمّ Heb. and Ch. To bind, to rein) s. f. m. A rein, a bridle.

زادي zādī P. f. part. pass. (from زادن) used in compos. زبري zabar-ī P s. f. Violence, oppression.
