زياد ziyād A (from زيد) 1. s. Augmen- tation, increase, addi- tion, surplus, excess. 2. adj. More, additional, too many, too much, excessive. زياده سر zi- yāda-sar, adj. Conceited, too vain of self. زياده سري ziyāda-sar-ī, s. f. Self-conceit, the having too high an opinion of self. زياده طلب ziyāda- t̤alab, Extortioner. زياده طلبي ziyāda-t̤alab-ī, s. f. Seeking more or too much, ambition, covetuousness, extortion, imposition. زياده کرنا ziyāda karnā, 1. To augment, to increase. 2. (met.) To take away the dinner and tablecloth. زياده هونا ziyāda honā, To exceed, to surpass.

زنجف zinjif P or zinjaf, s. f. Fringe, border, edging, &c.

زنبورک zambūrak P s. f. A small gun or swivel, usually carried on a camel.

زورين zor-īn P adj. Strong, powerful.

زبوني zabūn-ī P s. f. Vileness, badness, wickedness, vice, faultiness, ill.

زري zar-ī P (from زر) s. f. Any thing woven with gold thread. زري باف zarī-bāf, A gold- lace worker.
