درس dars A (Heb. ) s. m. Reading, learning to read, a lecture, a lesson. درس دينا dars denā, To teach to read, to instruct. درس لينا dars lenā, To read a lesson. S. درس दर्श (r. दृश See) daras or dars, s. m. 1. Sight, seeing. 2. The conjunction of sun and moon, or day of new moon.

ديا daiyā H s. f. 1. A mother. 2. The stand that children run to in playing at hide and seek.

دمانک damānak P s. m. A blunderbuss, a carbine. S. دمبهـ दम्भ (r. दंभ Cheat, bully) dambh, s. m. Pride, boast.
