دفرقليا dafar ḳaliyā A. Tasteless victuals, a dish in which much broth, vegetables, &c. are mixed to make it go the further, wishwash.

دلدل duldul A s. m. 1. A hedge-hog. 2. The name of Muhammadʼs mule or of the mule (or horse) of علي aﻌlī, son-in-law of Muhammad. 3. (met.) Fat.

P. دماغي 1. dimāg̠ẖ-ī, adj. Of the brain. 2. da- māg̠ẖ-ī, Vain, frivolous, conceited, proud.

دهنيس धनेश dhanes S s. m. The name of a bird with a very large bill. (Buceros).

درکنا daraknā H v. n. To split, to rend, to be torn, to crack.

دامادي dāmād-ī P s. f. State, quality or right of a son-in-law.

دايره dāʼịra A (from دور) s. m. 1. A circle, a ring, circumference, orbit. 2. A tambourin. 3. A monastery. دايره دار dāʼịra-dār, Chief of a monastery, an abbot, prior, &c.

دف daf P s. m. A small tambourin.

دهنده dhundh S̱. (from धूम Smoke) s. m. Dim- sightedness. 2. Haziness, mistiness.
