دهيلا duhelā H adj. Difficult.

دهڙا dhaṛā H s. m. 1. A party. 2. A weight. دهڙا باندهنا dhaṛā bāndhnā, To make up a standard to weigh by, with bricks or any thing else; as, by having one weight (of a pound, suppose) it is doubled, quadrupled, and so on, till the weight requisite is obtained.

دگدگاٿ dugdugāṭ H s. (dakh.) See دگدگاهٿ dagdagāhaṭ (?).

دبنا dabnā H v. n. 1. To be snubbed, to crouch, shrink, be pressed down, be bowed down, give way, to be awed. 2. To be concealed. دب آنا dab-ānā, v. n. To advance. دب جانا dab jānā, To retire, to withdraw, to be mortified, to be suppressed. دب چلنا يا نکلنا dab-chalnā or -nikalnā, To be awed, to be overpowered. دب مرنا dab marnā, To be crushed to death. دبي پانو dabe-pāṅw or دبي پاون dabe-pāoṅ, With silent steps, softly, gently.

درڙه दृढ dr̤iṛh S adj. Firm, strong.

دهچکنا dhachaknā H v. n. To give way, to sink (as, a bog, slough, &c.).

داٴودي dāʼūd-ī A 1. s. f. A shrub that bears a flower like chamomile (Chrysanthemum indi- cum); a kind of firework like that shrub. 2. A kind of armour. 3. adj. Relating to David, of David.

دوخت doḵẖt P (from دوختن) s. f. Sewing, a stitch, seam. دوخت کرنا doḵẖt karnā, To sew.

دالدر dālidr दारिद्र्य S̱. s. m. See داردر dāridr.

دهلي dihlī देहली S̱. s. f. A threshold.
