آنافانا ānaṉ-fa-ānaṉ A adj. Every minute, constantly, incessantly.

احیانا aḥyānaṉ A adv. Sometimes, now and then, from time to time; in the event, in case, should.

تخمينا taḵẖmīnaṉ A (from خمن) adv. 1. By guess, by conjecture, by appraisement. 2. Nearly, about.

ضمنا ẓimnaṉ A adv. Comprehensively, by impli- cation, tacitly, by the by, by the way.

منصه manaṣṣa A or minaṣṣa (noun of place, &c. from نصّ) s. m. The tent or chamber of the bride.

نصاريٰ naṣārạ̄ A (Heb. from Nazareth, the name of a city, so called from its abounding in orchards, from a twig or branch) s. m. A Nazarene, a christian.

نصايح naṣāʼịḥ A s. plur. (of نصيحت from نصح Heb. and Aram. ) Counsels, advices, ad- monitions.

نصب naṣb A (Heb. and Aram. ) s. m. Fixing, erecting, planting, an establishment. نصب کرنا naṣb karnā, To establish, fix, erect, &c. نصب هونا naṣb honā, To be fixed, &c.

نصر naṣr A (Heb. and Aram. ) s. m. Assist- ance, victory.

نصراني naṣrānī A s. m. A christian. See نصاريٰ.

نصرانيت naṣrānīyat A s. f. The christian re- ligion, christianity.

نصيب naṣīb A (from نصب Heb. and Aram. ) s. m. Fortune, lot, luck, chance, portion, part, fate, destiny. (In Hindūstānī this word is often constructed as a plural). نصيب لڙني na- ṣīb laṛne, 1. To be competitor for any thing. 2. (lit. fortune fighting for one) The commence- ment of prosperity, to be greatly favoured by fortune (after adversity). نصيب جگنا naṣīb jagnā, To be fortunate.

نصيبه naṣība A s. m. A lot, fortune. نصيبه ور naṣība-war, adj. Fortunate.

نصيحت naṣīḥat A (from نصخ Heb. and Aram. ) s. f. Advice, counsel, admonition, precept. نصيحت کرنا يا دينا naṣīhat-karnā, or -denā, To advise, counsel, admonish, exhort; (met.) to reprove, to reprimand, to chastise. نصيحت گر naṣīḥat-gar, or نصيحت گو naṣīḥat-go, An ad- viser, counsellor, admonisher.

نصير naṣīr A (from نصر) s. m. An assistant, a de- fender, a friend.
