تحت taḥt A s. m. 1. The inferiour part, be- low, under. 2. Subjection, possession. تحت الثرا taḥtu-s̤-s̤arā or تحت الثري taḥtu-s̤-s̤arạ̄, s. m. Under the earth. تحت الشعاع taḥtu-sh-shuʼāﻌﻌ, s. m. تحقيق taḥḳīḳ A (inf. ii. of حقّ) 1. s. f. Ascer- taining, ascertainment, investigation, trial, verifi- cation, exactness, precision. 2. Truth, certain- ty. 3. adj. Authentick, ascertained, actual, real, indubitable, apparent. 4. adv. Truly, in- deed. (Plur. تحقيقات taḥḳīḳāt, Inquiry, inves- tigation, &c.). تحقيق کرنا taḥḳīḳ karnā, To ascertain, investigate, inspect. A.P. تحقيقي taḥḳīḳ-ī, adj. Certain, real.

تهکانا thakānā S̱. (causal of تهکنا) v. a. To tire, ha- rass, weary, fag, fatigue, jade.

تلاوا tulāwā S̱. (r. तुल Weigh) s. m. Part of a Hindūstanī carriage, which rests on the axle- tree arm and supports the body of the carriage.

تاڙنا tāṛnā H v. a. To understand, conceive, comprehend, guess, apprehend.
