جيشٿها jesh̤ṭhā ज्येष्ठा S̱. s. f. One of the man- sions of the moon (the eighteenth. Antares and two other stars in Scorpio).

جهاري jhārī S̱. (झर A cascade) s. f. 1. A pitcher with a long neck and a spout to it, an ewer. 2. For h. جهاڙي jhāṛī, q. v.

جنلوک जनलोक jana-lok S s. m. One of the seven lokas or divisions of the world; the re- gion inhabited by pious men after their decease.

جرا jurrā P. s. m. A kind of hawk (male of باز q. v.), a male falcon. See جره jurra.

جامن jāman जम्बू S̱. s. f. A fruit and tree so called. (Eugenia jambolana).
