جتارا jatārā S̱. (from جات) s. m. Dynasty.

جلانا jilānā S̱. (caus. of جينا jīnā जीवन) v. a. 1. To give life to, to vivify, animate, to recover any thing almost dead. 2. To foster, to patronise.

جونري jūnrī H s. f. The name of a grain. (Joʼār. Holcus sorgum).

جهجهکنا jhijhaknā H or jhajhaknā, v. n. To start or boggle, to feel the sensation of the limbs being asleep, or as if pins and needles were striking into them.

جوگني joginī S (योगिनी) s. f. 1. A female fiend or sprite, attendant on and created by Durgā. 2. (in astrology) Spirits governing periods of good and ill luck.
