جس jis यस्य S̱. pron. rel. sing. inflect. To what degree, as, as much as, whatever, whatsoever. جسکا کهاٴي اسکي داڙان مين دينا jis-kā khāʼe us-ke dāṛān meṅ denā (dakh. allegorically for نمک حرامي کرنا) To practise treachery or to act ungratefully. جس کسي کا jis kisī kā, Of whomever. جس کسيکو jis kisī ko, To whomever.

جوبن joban S̱. or jauban (यौवन) s. m. 1. Pu- berty, adolescence, prime, youth. 2. (met.) Breast.

جهلملا jhilmil-ā H adj. Thin, sparkling.

جڙها juṛhā S̱. (r. जुड Join) s. m. Twins.

جهڙ jhaṛ H 1. s. f. Heavy rain. 2. s. f. m. A kind of lock. ¶ jhuṛ, s. m. A bush, bramble. See جهوڙ jhūṛ, sign. 3.

جڙاٴي juṛāʼī S̱. (from جوڙنا q. v.) s. f. The price of joining, mending, &c. S̱. H. جڙپيڙ jaṛ-peṛ, s. f. Root and branch. جڙپيڙسي اکهاڙنا jaṛ-peṛ se ukhāṛnā, v. a. To extirpate.

جوال jauwāl A adj. Going about or travelling much ¶ jiwāl, s. plur. (of جول) Walls or en- closures of wells.

جهگا jhagā H s. m. See جهنگا jhangā.

جزم jazm A s. m. 1. Decision, determining, resol- ving. 2. Amputation. 3. The orthographical character jazm (/؟/) which is placed over a letter to show that it is quiescent or has no vowel following it. بالجزم bi-l-jazm, With decision, in earnest.
