جان jān P s. f. m. 1. Life, soul, spirit, mind, self. 2. A sweetheart. 3. (met.) adj. Dear, beloved. جان آفرين jān-āfarīn, Animator, creator of life (an epithet of God). جانباز jān-bāz or جان باخته jān-bāḵẖta, adj.
