جماهنا jamāhnā S̱. v. n. See جمـﮩ‍انا jamhānā.

جوڙنا joṛnā S̱. (जोडन r. जुड Join, bind) v. a. 1. To join, to mend, to patch. 2. To add toge- ther. 3. To reckon, to cast or sum or add up. 4. To get or rather to save and scrape up a for- tune, &c. to fabricate, cement, solder, unite, set (a bone, &c.), to tie, annex, affix, invent, contrive.

جار jārr A (from جرّ) part. Giving kasr to the last letter of a word. حرف جار ḥarf-i-jārr, A particle which occasions the noun to end in kasr.

جداول jadāwil A s. plur. of جدول jadwal, q. v.

جرس jaras A s. m. A bell.

جدي jadd-ī A (from جدّ) adj. Ancestrel, belonging to ancestors.

جهٿ jhaṭ झटिति S̱. adv. Quickly, instantly. جهٿ سي jhaṭ se, or جهٿ پٿ jhaṭ paṭ, adv. Quickly, hastily.

جهلکنا jhalaknā S̱. (s. ज्वलका Flame) v. n. To shine, to glare.
