اوزار auzār A s. plur. (of وزر) 1. Sins or offences (but in Hindī not used in this sense). 2. Arms, tools, apparatus. 3. The rigging and imple- ments of a ship or boat. 4. Asylums, places of defence.

ارپن अर्पण arpaṇ S s. m. An offering.

اذا iẕā A adv. When: behold.

اپهلننا uphannā S̱. (उत् and r. फण Move, go) v. n. To boil over.

اسوچ asoch S̱. (अ and शोच्य To be regretted, r. शुच Grieve) adj. Not contrivable, impossible to be effected by reflection or study, not to be regretted.

اکرم अकर्म a-karm S s. m. Bad action, sin, vice, wickedness.

انمل an-mil S̱. adj. See انميل an-mel.

اگاڙي agāṛī S̱. (from अग्र The forepart, &c.) adv. Before, in front, forwards, further on, onward. s. f. The ropes with which a horseʼs fore feet are tied, the front, forepart. اگاڙي مارنا agāṛī mārnā, To attack in front, to defeat a hostile army in pitched battle. اگاڙي پچهاڙي لگانا agāṛī pichhāṛī lagānā, To confine (especially, a horse).

اکتانا uktānā S̱. (उत् and r. कठ Grieve) v. n. 1. To fret, to be melancholy or dejected. 2. To be out of humour with, to be tired of, to tire.
