تايب tāʼịb A (from توبه) part. act. mas. Repenting, penitent. (Fem. تائيبه tāʼịba).

توپڙا topṛā H s. m. 1. A fly. 2. A kind of pigeon.

توشه tosha P s. m. Provision (particularly, of a traveller, or that which is carried with the funeral of a deceased person, to support him during his journey to the other world), viati- cum. توشه خانه tosha-ḵẖāna, s. m. A ward- robe, a place where furniture is kept.

تلوا talūʼā S̱. or talwā (तल) s. m. The sole of the foot. تلواچاٿنا talūʼā chāṭnā, or تلوي تلي هاتهـ دهرنا talwe tale hāth dharnā, To flatter. تلوي تلاسي talwe-talāsī, s. f. (dakh.) Rubbing of the soles of the feet. تلوي سـﮩ‍لاني talwe sah- lāne (lit. To stroke the soles of the feet) signi- fies excessive flattery, adulation. تلوون سي آگ لگني talwoṅ se āg lagnī (lit. burning in the soles of the feet) implies excessive anger.

تڙوانا tuṛwānā S̱. (causal of توڙنا) v. a. To cause to break, &c.

تعدي taʼaﻌddī A (inf. v. of عدو) s. f. Extortion, exorbitancy, oppression, wrong, injury, tyranny, violence, cruelty.

تونگري tawangar-ī P s. f. Riches, wealth.

تپسوي तपस्वी tapaswī S s. m. See تپسي tapsī.

تکواهي takwāhī S̱. (from تکنا) s. f. Watching, over- seeing, superintending, looking sharp after (as after a silversmith).

ترکٿا tirkuṭā त्रिकटु S̱. s. m. A mixture of dry ginger, long pepper, and black pepper.
