تحليل taḥlīl A (inf. ii. of حلّ) s. (used generally in compos. with verbs) 1. Dissolving, diges- tion, concoction, solubility. 2. Making lawful. تحليل هونا taḥlīl honā, To waste, to consume.

تغافل tag̠ẖāful A (from غفلت) s. m. 1. Negli- gence, neglect, indifference, inattention, inadver- tency. 2. Being absorbed as in sleep, &c. تغافل شعار tag̠ẖāful-shiʼāﻌr or تغافل کيش tag̠ẖā- ful-kesh, adj. Careless, inattentive. تغافل شعاري tag̠ẖāful-shiʼāﻌr-ī, s. f. Inattention, carelessness. ترغيب targ̠ẖīb A (inf. ii. of رغبت) s. f. Ex- citing desire, incitement, instigation, temptation, stimulation. ترغيب دينا targ̠ẖīb denā, To set agog, excite, incite, to tempt, entice, induce.

تهامنا thāmnā S̱. (स्तंभन) v. a. 1. To support, to prop. 2. To shield, protect, keep, retain, maintain, to shelter. 3. To prevent, withhold, restrain, calm. 4. To stop, to pull up (a horse), to bear, assist, resist.

ترني tarnī S̱. (तरणि r. तृ Cross, pass over a river, &c.) s. f. A ship, a vessel, a boat.

ترچهيانا tirchhiyānā S̱. (from ترچها) v. n. To edge, to go obliquely (little used, the proper expres- sion being کترانا katrānā).

تخته taḵẖta P s. m. 1. A plank, a board; deck (of a ship). 2. A stool, bench. 3. A bier. 4. A sheet of paper. 5. A bed of flowers, &c. تخته بندي taḵẖta-bandī, s. f. Wainscot, boarding. تخته بندي کرنا taḵẖta-bandī karnā, To board, to plank, floor with boards. تخته گردن taḵẖta-gardan, adj. Thick, broad and straight necked (a horse). تخته نرد taḵẖta-nard, s. m. Backgammon.
