تربتر tar-ba-tar P adj. Completely wet. تربترهونا tar-ba-tar honā, To drip with wet (but, gene- rally) to be covered with blood.

تکفين takfīn A (inf. ii. of کفن) s. f. Putting on the winding sheet, laying in the coffin, &c. shrouding, sepulture. تکفين کرنا takfīn karna, To shroud, to coffin.

تهکانا thakānā S̱. (causal of تهکنا) v. a. To tire, ha- rass, weary, fag, fatigue, jade.

تنتر तंत्र tantr S s. m. 1. Name of a religious treatise teaching peculiar and mystical forms and rites for the worship of the deities or the attain- ment of superhuman power. It is mostly in the shape of a dialogue between Siva and Durgā, who are the peculiar deities of the Tantrikas. 2. Charm, enchantment.

تلخي talḵẖ-ī P s. f. Bitterness, acrimony.

تيکها tīkhā तीक्ष्ण S̱. adj. 1. Pungent. 2. An- gry, passionate. 3. Sharp, penetrating.

تارک tārik A (from ترک) part. act. Leaving; a deserter. تارک الدنيا tāriku-d-dunyā, 1. adj. Abandoning the world, abstinent, sober, chaste. 2. s. m. An anchoret, a hermit.

تتار tatār P s. m. The same as تاتار q. v.

تهمنا thamnā S̱. (स्तंभन) v. n. 1. To stop, cease, be restrained. 2. To be supported.
