تابستان tāb-istān P s. m. The hot weather, sum- mer.

تلوا tilūʼā S̱. (from तिल) s. m. A kind of sweet- meat (eaten, particularly, by the Hindūs when the Sun enters Capricorn).

تخليه taḵẖliya A (inf. ii. of خلوت) s. m. 1. Evacuation. 2. Privacy. 3. Manumission (of a slave). 4. Divorce (of a wife).

تمن tuman P s. m. 1. Brotherhood, connexion, cast, &c. 2. Bevy, crowd, troop, squadron (properly, ten thousand). See تومان tomān. تمن باندهنا tuman bāndhnā, To collect a body of troops. تمن دار tuman-dār, The commander of a tuman. تمنداري tuman-dār-ī, s. f. The command of a tuman.

تقريب taḳrīb A (inf. ii. of قرب) s. f. 1. Bringing near, approximation, approaching, proximity, access. 2. Recommendation, mentioning any one to another before meeting. 3. Occasion, conjunction, cause, pretence, motive, probability. تقريب کرنا taḳrīb karnā, To commend, to re- commend, to prepare a person for the reception of another.

تعزيل taﻌzīl A (inf. ii. of عزل) s. f. Removing or deposing from an office.

تپري taprī H s. f. A mound, a small height, an acclivity.

توکل tawakkul A (inf. v. of وکل) s. m. Trust in God, reliance, faith, resignation (to God).

تتار tatār S̱. (from تتارنا) s. f. Embrocation, pouring of warm water on a diseased part.

تعمير taﻌmīr A (inf. ii. of عمر) s. f. 1. Rebuilding, building, structure, repairing. 2. Making a place habitable, productive and populous. (Plur. تعميرات). تعميرکرنا taﻌmīr karnā, To build. تعميرهونا taﻌmīr honā, To be built.
