تپانا tapānā S̱. (तापन or caus. of تپنا) v. a. To heat, warm, make glow, make another person warm himself at the fire or in the sun.

تناسخ tanāsuḵẖ A (inf. vi. of نسخ) s. m. Trans- migration, metempsychosis.

ترانه tarāna P s. m. 1. Modulation, harmony, voice, song, melody, symphony, trill, shake, quaver. 2. A kind of song. ترانه پرداز tarāna- pardāz, Composing songs.

تغمه tag̠ẖma A s. m. A mark which artists put on their productions, device on a shield, arms or armorial bearings, a medal.

تنک tunuk P (or, tunak), adj. Slight, weak, de- licate, thin, effeminate. تنک حواس tunuk- ḥawāss, adj. Sensible. تنک حواسي tunuk-ḥa- wāss-ī, s. f. Sense, sensibility. تنک صبري tunuk- ṣabr-ī, s. f. Want of patience. تنک ظرف tunuk- z̤arf, adj. (a weak vessel) Tale-bearer, tatler, simpleton. تنک مايه tunuk-māya, Slight or weak in substance. تنک مزاج tunuk-mizāj, adj. Whimsical, captious, peevish, fretful. تنک مزاجي tunuk-mizāj-ī, s. f. Peevishness, captiousness.

تردوش त्रिदोष त्रि Three, and दोष Evil, fault tri-dosh̤ S. s. m. Effervescence of the three humours, viz. phlegm, bile, and atrabilis.

تلا तुला tulā S s. f. 1. A balance or scale. 2. The sign Libra of the zodiack. 3. The practice of being weighed against gold or any kind of valuable substance, which is afterwards given to priests.

تدفين tadfīn A (inf. ii. of دفن) s. f. Burial, interment, funeral.
