تهاٿ thāṭ H s. (dakh.) See ٿهاٿهـ ṭhāṭh.

تونبي tūmbī S̱. s. f. 1. (तुम्बी) A small تونبا tūmbā, q. v. 2. See تومري tūmrī. 3. A kind of pipe (chiefly used by those who exhibit snakes).

تکا tikkā H s. m. A small piece of flesh, a steak, a chop, a collop, a slice.

تکلف takalluf A (inf. v. of کلف) s. m. 1. Inconvenience, ceremony, trouble, taking much pains oneʼs self in any matter. 2. Extravagance, pro- fusion. 3. Preparation. (Plur. تکلفات takal- lufāt). تکلفات دربار takallufāt-i-darbār, Ex- pending much. تکلفات رسمي takallufāt-i-rasmī, Ceremonious attention, empty or formal com- pliments. تکلفات مجلس takallufāt-i-majlis, The ceremonies of society, etiquette. تکلف برطرف takalluf bar-t̤araf, Waving ceremony. تکلف کرنا takalluf karnā, To take pains, to be cere- monious (in). تکلف مزاج takalluf-mizāj, adj. Ceremonious.

تهکا thakā S̱. (from تهکنا) adj. Tired, weary.

توليا tauliyā H s. m. A vessel used by Hindūs.

تحس نحس taḥs naḥs A. adj. Spoilt, broken, dispersed, overthrown, destroyed, unfortunate. (The last part is significant, the first redun- dant).

تاجور tāj-war P Possessing a crown; s. m. A king, a prince.
