تفکه tafakkuh A (inf. v. of فکه) s. m. 1. Admiring. 2. Penitence. 3. Enjoyment of any thing. (Plur. تفکـﮩ‍ات).

تمن tuman P s. m. 1. Brotherhood, connexion, cast, &c. 2. Bevy, crowd, troop, squadron (properly, ten thousand). See تومان tomān. تمن باندهنا tuman bāndhnā, To collect a body of troops. تمن دار tuman-dār, The commander of a tuman. تمنداري tuman-dār-ī, s. f. The command of a tuman.

تفضيل tafẓīl A (inf. ii. of فضل) Excellence, pre- eminence. اسم تفضيل ism-i-tafẓīl, An adjective in the comparative or superlative degree.

تنگنا tang-nā P s. A strait place or passage, a strait.

تدبير tadbīr A (inf. ii. of دبر) s. f. 1. Deliberation, counsel, contrivance, expedient, opinion, advice. 2. Government, regulation, arrangement, order, management, policy, prudence. (Plur. تدبيرات tadbīrāt). تدبيرسلطنت tadbīr-i-salt̤anat, s. f. Politicks. تدبيرغذا tadbīr-i-g̠ẖiẕā, s. f. Regimen of diet.

تشدد tashaddud A (from شدّ) 1. s. m. Seizing and holding firmly or by force, shewing vehe- mence or severity. 2. adj. Strong, robust, corroborated, confirmed. (Plur. تشددات).

تاخت تاراج tāḵẖt-tārāj P s. m. Assault and plun- der, depredation, devastation. تاخت وتاراج کرنا tāḵẖt o tārāj karnā, v. a. To ruin, to depopu- late.

تنڐ tunḍ H s. (dakh.) A large piece of wood or stick.

تربت turbat A s. f. A tomb, a sepulchre.

تکنا taknā S̱. (r. तर्क Shine, investigate) 1. v. a. To look at, to look, to observe, to aim at, to watch. 2. v. n. To be looked at, to be stared at, to look.
