پنـﮩاني pinhān-ī P s. f. Concealment.

پشنگ pashang P s. Name of the father and of the son of Afrāsiyāb, also of a warriour of Īrān, a long piercing instrument with which builders make holes in walls, a woollen cloth or a plank prepared with a piece of wood at each end on which bricks, clay, &c. are drawn, tyranny, op- pression, labour, exuding (of water, &c.).

پرسا pursā पौरुष S̱. adj. Of manʼs height; s. The extent of a manʼs reach in height when ex- tending the arms and fingers, a fathom.

پوني paune S̱. (see پون paun) adj. One quarter less (either of one, or of the aggregate number which may follow).

پنکي pinkī S̱. s. f. 1. Intoxication from eating opium. 2. Drowsiness, nodding. See پينک.

پٿوکا paṭūkā S̱. (पट्ट Cloth) s. m. See پٿکا paṭkā. پٿوکاباندهنا paṭūkā bāndhnā, To determine on, or to prepare for any act. پٿوکاپکڙنا paṭūkā pa- kaṛnā, To hinder or obstruct.

پانجر pānjar पंजर S̱. s. m. 1. The ribs, the side. 2. A side or quarter. (Synon. with طرف).

پلنگ palang P s. m. A tiger, a panther, a leo- pard.

پين peṅ H s. m. An imitative sound.
