پتوا patauwā S̱. (from पत्र) s. m. A leaf.

To dash on the ground, to throw against any thing with violence. H. S̱. پٿکي دينا paṭkī denā, v. a. To dash on the ground, to throw against any thing with violence.

پٿوکا paṭūkā S̱. (पट्ट Cloth) s. m. See پٿکا paṭkā. پٿوکاباندهنا paṭūkā bāndhnā, To determine on, or to prepare for any act. پٿوکاپکڙنا paṭūkā pa- kaṛnā, To hinder or obstruct.

پراس parās पलाश S̱. s. m. 1. The name of a tree (Butea frondosa). 2. Oakum made of the bark of that tree.
