بهرم bharam S̱. s. m. 1. (for भ्रम) Errour, mis- take, suspicion, apprehension, perplexity, doubt. 2. (for संभ्रम) s. m. Credit, character, reputa- tion. بهرم گنوانا bharam-gaṅwānā, v. a. To lose character.

بادلي bādalī H s. f. Silver cloth.

بهبهوکا bhabhūkā H 1. s. m. Blaze, flame, explo- sion. 2. adj. Red (as a coal, sometimes ap- plied to the splendour of a beloved personʼs countenance); splendid, beautiful.

بانگ bāng P s. f. Voice, crying out, sound; the voice of the muʼaẕẕin calling Muhammadans to prayer; the crowing of a cock. بانگ دينا bāng denā, To call Muhammadans to prayer. بانگ مارنا bāng mārnā, To cry out, to call.

بهجنيک bhajnīk S̱. (भजनिक r. भज Serve, worship) s. m. A singer, an adorer.

باسٿهـ bāsaṭh S̱. (Sans. द्विषष्टि) adj. Sixty-two. S. باسديو (वासुदेव) bāsudev or Vāsudeva, n.prop. Name of Kr̤ish̤ṇa, the son of Vasudeva.

بـﮩار bihār S (विहार) s. m. Diversion, amuse- ment, sport. بـﮩارستهل bihār-asthal, Place of amusement.

برهمچاري ब्रह्मचारी brahmachārī S s. m. A re- ligious student, a Brāhmaṇ from the time of his investiture with the sacerdotal thread till he becomes a householder, a person who continues with his spiritual teacher studying the Veda, a Panḍit learned in the Veda, an ascetick.

بيـﮩ‍لا behlā P. (Pers. بيله) s. m. Money carried by great men to be distributed in charity when tra- velling, &c. بيـ‍ﮩ‍لابردار behlā-bardār, The car- rier of the بيـﮩ‍لا. See p. بيلا.
