باگ bāg H s. f. A rein, a bridle. باگ لينا bāg lenā, To take the rein; to curb or pull up (a horse, &c.). باگ موڙنا bāg moṛnā, To turn the reins: and, this phrase is applied to the drying up of the small-pox; thus, when the pustules begin to blacken and dry up, they say, سيتلاني باگ موڙي sītlā ne bāg moṛī, or ماتاني باگ موڙي mātā ne bāg moṛī. باگ هاتهـ سي چهوٿنا bāg hāth se chhūṭnā, The reins to have slipped from the hand, denotes the loss of choice, power or controul.
