وجع wajaﻌ A (Heb. from ) s. m. 1. Dis- ease, pain, affliction. 2. Complaint, mourning. وجع مفاصل waja-iﻌ-mafāṣil, Rheumatism.

وار wār H s. m. A blow, wound, gash, assault.

وسواس waswās A (from وسوس) s. m. 1. The temp- tations of the devil, distraction of mind. 2. Doubt, suspense, hesitation, apprehension, sus- picion, dread, perplexity, superstition, scrupu- lousness, fluctuation (of mind).

ويشنو वैष्णव vaish̤ṇav S 1. adj. Relating or be- longing to Vish̤ṇu. 2. s. m. A sectary or fol- lower of Vish̤ṇu.
