وار wār H s. m. A blow, wound, gash, assault.

وسيع wasīﻌ A (from وسع) adj. Extensive, large, spacious, roomy.

وون woṅ H or wūṅ, adv. In that manner, so. وون کا وونہي woṅ kā woṅ-hī, Exactly the same as before or originally.

ونہين winheṅ H pron. 3d pers. plur. (same as انہين unheṅ) Them, those, to them, &c.

وه wuh H or (in Braj and Dakh.) wah, pron. That, he, she, it, the; (occasionally like وي) they, those.

واهي wāhī A (part. act. of وهي) adj. Weak, crazy, ill founded (premises, &c.). Plur. واهيات wāhiyāt, Absurdities, fiddlefaddle. واهي تباهي wāhī tabāhī or واهي واهي wāhī wāhī, Absurd, absurdity, nonsense.

وصل waṣl A s. m. Meeting, union, conjunction, connexion. وصل کرنا waṣl karnā, To unite, paste, conjoin, annex, attach, cement.

وصلت wuṣlat A s. f. Conjunction, joining, meeting, connexion. A. P. وصلچه waṣl-cha, s. A shred, remnant.

وثيقت was̤īḳat A s. f. 1. Firmness, solidity, confidence, faith. 2. A bond, obligation, written agreement.

ونتا wantā S̱. m. A particle in compos. See وان वान् wān.
