نياي nyāʼe S̱. or niyāʼe (न्याय) s. m. 1. Justice, equity. 2. Reason, argument, disputation, so- phistry, logick. نياي شاستر nyāʼe-shāstr, s. m. Logick. نياي کرنا nyāʼe karnā, To judge, ad- minister justice, decide.

نکلوانا nikalwānā S̱. (caus. of نکلنا) v. a. To cause to issue, to cause to go out or come out, to expel.

نکهاد निषाद nikh̤ād S s. m. 1. The first of the seven musical notes. 2. Name of a Hindū in- feriour cast. See چنڐال chanḍāl.

نريکهنا nirekhnā निरीक्षण S̱. v. a. To behold, to spy, to look out.

نانون nāṅoṅ S̱. P. (corrupt. of نام) s. m. Name, appellation, a noun.

نر निर् nir S prep. Out, without (on the out- side), without (not having). The reverse of नि. As, निर्गंध nir-gandh, Scentless.

نبارنا nibārnā निवारण S̱. v. a. 1. To forbid. 2. (dakh.) See نباڙنا nibāṛnā.

نجومي nujūm-ī A s. m. An astrologer; fortune- teller.

نہال nihāl P s. m. A young plant, shoot, sucker, sapling.
