ناجي nājī A (from نجو) adj. Free, liberated, ex- cused, escaped, saved, elect. (Fem. ناجيه).

نيمه nīma P s. m. A garment like a jāma, but not so full at the breast, or with less cloth in the skirt. نيمه آستين nīma-āstīn, Half-sleeved, a particular kind of jacket. (It reaches to below the knee, is single-breasted, and fastened above by one button in the centre of the chest: it has short sleeves. Qanoon-e-islam). نيمه شام nīma-shām, Evening.

نظر naz̤ar A s. f. 1. Sight, vision, look, regard, a glance, view, inspection, observation. 2. Doubt, perplexity. نظر آنا naz̤ar ānā, To come to sight, to appear. نظر انداز naz̤ar-andāz, adj. Reject- ed. نظر باز naz̤ar-bāz, 1. An ogler. 2. A thief- catcher. 3. A juggler. نظر بازي naz̤ar-bāz-ī, s. f. Ogling. نظر بچانا naz̤ar bachānā, To avoid the sight. نظربند naz̤ar-band, 1. s. m. Fasci- nation (of conjurors). 2. adj. Strictly watched (without being imprisoned). نظربندي naz̤ar- band-ī, 1. s. f. Confinement, arrest. 2. Fascina- tion, juggle. نظرثاني naz̤ar-i-s̤ānī, 1. A review or second examination of recruits, at which they are finally past. 2. Revisal of a writing or book. نظرسي گرا دينا naz̤ar se girā denā, To disgrace. نظر کرنا naz̤ar karnā, To look, see, behold, &c. نظرگاه naz̤ar-gāh, Theatre, amphitheatre. نظر ملانا naz̤ar milānā, To compare. نظرونسي گرنا naz̤roṅ se girnā, To be disgraced.
