نکهرانا nikhrānā H (caus. of نکهرنا) v. a. To settle, to purify, to clear.

نٿاگي naṭ-āgī S̱. s. (dakh.) Deceit, fraud, knavery, guile (Harris).

نيوتنا nyotnā S̱. or nyautnā, v. a. To invite.

نگاهداشت nigāh-dāsht P s. Enlistment, enlisting. نگاهداشت کرنا nigāh-dāsht karnā, To enlist.

نوري nūr-ī A adj. Of light, splendid, luminous.

نشا nashā A (from نشو or نشي) s. m. 1. Intoxica- tion, intoxicating liquor, a headach or crop sickness (from over-drinking). 2. Perception (of a good smell), fragrance, smell. نشا خور na- shā-ḵẖor, A person who takes intoxicating drugs, &c. a drunkard.

نيول newal S̱. (नकुल) s. m. A weasel, a ferret, a mongoose. (Viverra mungo).

نوني non-ī S̱. s. f. Efflorescence of salt on a wall.

نعوذ naʼūﻌẕu A 1st. pers. plur. aor. of عوذ Heb. To flee for refuge to any person or place. نعوذ بالله naʼūﻌẕu bi-l-lāhi, Let us flee to God (from any thing wicked).
