نخشب naḵẖshab P n. prop. Name of a city in Turkistan, famous for the appearance of the moon which the impostor Muḳannaﻌ caused to ascend from a pit in its neighbourhood, during the space of two months.

ندافي naddāf-ī A. s. f. Dressing of cotton, the trade of a naddāf.

ناڙي नाडी nāṛī S s. f. The pulse. ناڙي ديکهنا nāṛī dekhnā (dakh. met.) To beat, strike (?): see مارنا mārnā.
