لو lau लय S̱. s. f. 1. The flame of a candle, any pointed flame. (Scotch, low). لو لگانا lau lagānā, To be constant in prayer, devotion, &c. لو لگني lau lagnī, The frequent and long continued repetition of any saying (particularly, of a lover calling on his mistress, or of a dying man on God), to have a constant desire or craving (for any thing).

لڙکا laṛkā S̱. (लडक r. लड Sport, play) s. m. A boy, child, infant, babe. لڙکا بالا laṛkā-bālā, s. m. Child. لڙکا لڙکي laṛkā laṛkī, s. Boys and girls, children.

لٿانا luṭānā S̱. v. a. 1. (causal of لوٿنا lūṭnā) To squander, to spend or expend, to cause to plun- der or be plundered. 2. (causal of لوٿنا loṭnā) To cause to wallow or roll about.

لونار lon-ār S̱. s. m. 1. Salt lands. 2. A place where salt is produced, a salt-pit.

لچک lachak H (from لچکنا) s. f. Spring, elasti- city, bending.

لک دني lak-dane H adv. (dakh.) Instantly, imme- diately.

لٿ پٿي laṭ-paṭ-ī H s. f. Stumbling, staggering, swaggering.

لـﮩو lahū S̱. (dakh. lhau) s. m. Blood. See لوهو lohū. لهو اوٿانا lhau auṭānā (lit. To make the blood boil) To be grieved. لهو پيو lhau-pīv (dakh.) Blood-drinking, blood-drinker. لهو گهونٿنا lhau-ghūṅṭ-nā (lit. To gulp blood) To suffer, to

لڙکهڙانا laṛkhaṛānā H v. n. 1. To stagger, to trip. 2. To stutter, to stammer.

لٿانا liṭānā H (causal of لي؟نا) v. a. To cause to lie or repose, to lay.
