لوه loh S (लोह) s. m. Iron. لوها بجانا lohā bajānā, To fight with swords. لوه لاٿهـ loha-lāṭh, s. m. An iron mace or club.

لپيٿ lapeṭ H (from لپيٿنا) s. f. m. A fold, a ply, envelope, twist, bandage, fillet. لپيٿ جهپيٿ يا سپيٿ lapeṭ-jhapeṭ or -sapeṭ, s. f. Evasion, subterfuge.

لوکنا lūknā S̱. (लोकन r. लोक See) v. a. To see.

لـﮩرنا lahar-nā S̱. v. n. To wave, to undulate.

لگنا lagnā S̱. (r. लग Come in contact) v. n. To be applied, to apply, to begin, to be fixed, to be attached, to be close (to), adjoin, to touch, to be employed, to be imputed, to attain (to), to reach, to suit, to join, to close, to be, to be- long, to become, to happen, to befall, to seem, to taste, to be connected (with), to regard. لگ رهنا lag rahnā, To continue without interrup- tion, to continue fixed. لگارهنا lagā rahnā, To be occupied or busy (in).
