لاٿ lāṭ S̱. s. f. An obelisk, a pillar. See لاٿهہ.

لگوا lagūʼā S̱. s. m. A paramour.

لنگوٿي langoṭ-ī P. s. f. A cloth worn between the legs to conceal the privities. (A bit of cloth about two feet long and six or eight inches broad, passed between the legs, and the ends tucked in before and behind to the tasma or dūʼālī. Qanoon-e-islam).

لي مرنا le-marnā S̱. v. n. To calumniate.

لپاٿي lapāṭī H s. f. Lying, tattling.

لوبيا lobiyā P s. m. A kind of bean (Dolichos sinensis).

لباڙنا labāṛnā H v. a. (dakh.) To plunder, spoil: see لوٿنا lūṭnā.

لڙاخ laṛāḵẖ S̱. adj. (dakh.) See لڙاک laṛāk.

لپٿنا lipaṭnā H or lapaṭnā, v. n. To cling, to ad- here together, to stick.

لوه چور loh-chūr S̱. (लोहचूर्ण) s. m. Iron filings.
