غول g̠ẖūl A (vulg. g̠ẖol) s. m. 1. An imaginary sylvan demon of different shapes and colours, supposed to devour men and animals. (From this our European loup-garou, or man-wolf, seems to be borrowed). 2. (in Hindī) A corps, division, or main body of an army, a squadron, a crowd, gang. غول بياباني g̠ẖūl-i-bayābān-ī, A demon (inhabitant of the woods). غول کا غول g̠ẖol kā g̠ẖol, Crowd upon crowd.

غواص g̠ẖauwāṣ A (adj. superl. of غوص) s. m. A diver (for pearls, &c.).

غپکا g̠ẖapka H s. m. (dakh.) The sound or smack of a blow. غپ دني g̠ẖap dane (dakh.) All at once, in a crack.

غبن g̠ẖabn A s. m. 1. Fraud, deceit. 2. Loss (of money, &c.). ¶ g̠ẖaban, 1. s. m. Weakness in mind, mistake, forgetfulness. 2. adj. Weak in mind, liable to deception.

غوطه g̠ẖot̤a A. (from Pers. غوته) s. m. 1. Dipping, diving, immersion. 2. A dip, a dive, a plunge. غوطه باز g̠ẖot̤a-bāz, A diver. غوطه خور g̠ẖot̤a- ḵẖor, A diver, any thing that dips, or is dipped.

غليلا g̠ẖulelā P. s. m. A pellet.

غماز g̠ẖammāz A (adj. superl. of غمز) s. m. An informer, a talebearer, backbiter.

Contrary to the sharﻌ, unlawful. غير متر قب g̠ẖair-mu- taraḳḳab, mas. or غير متر قبه g̠ẖair-mutaraḳḳaba, fem. Unexpected. غير معين g̠ẖair-muʼaﻌiyan, Unstable, unsettled, vague.

غازيه g̠ẖāziya A s. (for قوةغازية) The faculty of intending or of purposing.
