غدر g̠ẖadr A s. m. 1. Perfidy, fraud, villainy, ingratitude. 2. Noise, bustle.

غلام g̠ẖulām A (Heb. from To be concealed) s. m. 1. A boy or youth (from birth till puberty; q. d. concealed in his fatherʼs house and not yet appearing in publick: Buxt.). 2. (from غلم g̠ẖalima, Coeundi cupidus fuit) A young man arrived at maturity. 3. (in Persian and Hindī) A slave. غلام پاره g̠ẖulām-pāra, Puerorum amoribus deditus. غلام گردش g̠ẖu- lām-gardish, s. m. A shed for servants to sit under. (Pers. plur. غلامان).

غريق g̠ẖarīḳ A (verbal adj. from غرق) 1. s. m. A drowning person. 2. adj. Immersed, drown- ed. غريق آب g̠ẖarīḳ-āb, adj. Deep, out of manʼs depth. غريق رحمت g̠ẖarīḳ-i-raḥmat, adj. Overwhelmed with mercy, drowned in the grace of God.

غاليچه g̠ẖālīcha A. (for قاليچه) s. m. A carpet.

غرقي g̠ẖarḳ-ī A. s. f. Flooding lands, inundation.

غروب g̠ẖurūb A s. m. 1. Setting (of the sun, &c.). 2. The west. غروب هونا g̠ẖurūb honā, To set (the sun or moon, &c.).

غراره g̠ẖarāra A (or prop. g̠ẖirāra) s. m. A large sack.

غلچگي g̠ẖalcha-gī P s. f. Rusticity, vagabond life.

غلچه g̠ẖalcha P s. m. A rustick, villager, va- gabond, reprobate.
