سب sab S̱. (or dakh. sub for सर्व) adj. All, every, the whole, total. (In the inflection of the plural, this word generally becomes سبهون sabhoṅ). سب مصري کي هين ڐليان sab miṣrī kī haiṅ ḍaliyāṅ (All are pieces of sugar) is ap- plied to denote equality or similitude of state, form, &c. سب کچهہ sab kuchh, Every thing, all. سب کوٴي sab koʼī, Every body, every one, all. سبکهوا sab-khauwā, Omnivorous, one who eats all kinds of food without exception.

(for s. शः) An adjunct the meaning of which is at times scarcely perceptible, though often it seems to give intensity to the preceding word; as بـہت سا bahut-sā, Much, many, very much. 3. (or ساي) part. in compos. (from سودن or ساييدن) Rubbing, wearing, polishing, anointing, drawing.

سڙکائي saṛkāʼī H s. f. (dakh.) Intoxication.

سلسل بول silsil-i-baul A. (Arab. سلسل البول sal- salu-l-baul) s. m. A diabetes, a morbid copiousness of urine.

سوادل swādal S̱. (स्वादक) adj. Delicious, relishing, of high flavour.

Opulence, power. 6. Probity. 7. A land- mark. سامان جنگي sāmān-i-jangī, s. m. War- like apparatus, ammunition. بي سروسامان be sar-o-sāmān, adj. 1. Destitute, indigent, help- less. 2. Stupified, brainless. 3. Immense, boundless, endless (applied to affairs).
