سير sair A s. f. Perambulation, excursion, tour, travels, taking the air, an airing, walk, re- creation, amusement, moving about; perusal. سير کرنا sair karnā, 1. To take the air, travel, perambulate, rove, walk. 2. To read, to pe- ruse. سير گاه sair-gāh, s. f. Place of perambu- lation, walk, passage, pass, thoroughfare.

Ease-affording, com- forter, giver of ease. سکهہ دايک सुखदायक sukh-dāyak, adj. Giver of ease or content. سکهہ دهام सुखधाम sukh-dhām, Abode of happiness, &c.

سندهيا संध्या sandhyā S s. f. 1. Twilight, either in the evening or morning. 2. A period of time, forenoon, afternoon or midday. 3. Religious abstraction, meditation, repetition of mantras, sipping water, &c. to be performed by the three first classes of Hindūs at particular and stated periods in the course of every day, especially at sunrise, sunset, and also, though less essentially, at noon.
