سماحت samāḥat A (from سمح) s. f. Beneficence, liberality.

سلجهنا sulajhnā H v. n. To be unravelled or dis- entangled. S. سلچهن सुलक्षण (comp. of सु Good, and लक्षण Sign, mark) su-lachchh̤aṇ or su-laksh̤aṇ, s. m. Good distinguishing mark or character; adj. Clearly or strongly distinguished by (marks, features, or) character. (Carey).

سدرسن सुदर्शन su-darsan S s. m. The discus or missile weapon of Vish̤ṇu or Kr̤ish̤ṇa. See چکر chakr, sign. 2.

ساجنا sājnā सज्जना S̱. 1. v. a. To prepare, dress, decorate, bedeck, regulate. 2. v. n. To become, fit, suit.

سيمل semal शाल्मलि S̱. s. m. A coarse kind of cotton, or the tree producing it. (Bombax heptaphyllum).

سنکار sankār S. (from سنکارنا) s. f. A sign, nod, wink, beckoning.

سره گاو sura-gāʼo S̱. s. The Yāk of Tartary or bushy-tailed bull of Tibet (bos grunniens), an animal of the tail of which an instrument is formed to drive away flies. See As. Res. vol. iv.
